Atelier Impopulaire
The Chroma Key Effect

Visual arts

Atelier Impopulaire is a Berlin based independent artist-run initiative founded in 2012 and focused on collaborative exhibition making methods. Invited to develop a site-specific project for the Pavilion, they present a program in three parts (September 2018 - January 2019) with the aim to reconsider the links between processes of participation and dissemination formats.

For their last exhibition, Atelier Impopulaire conceived a site-specific installation, The Chroma Key Effect (2018), that tests the boundaries between conceptual, production processes, on-screen & off-screen, highlighting aspects that appear to be unrelated in the representation of visual and verbal languages.

Running until January 26th the installation is visible 24 hours from the outside while the inside can be visited by appointment writing to

For the finissage of the exhibition, the Pavilion will be open on Saturday January 26th from 6 to 10 pm.
