Conversation and Q&A with producer Liran Atzmor
Hosted by Christian Römer, in cooperation with Goethe-Institute and Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung

“Defense Files” throws an utterly unsparing light on the Israeli criminal justice system. They follow at the heel of public defenders and their charge, who stand innocent or guilty before court. Whether it involves a racist football fan, a supposed murderer or a corrupt customs officer – every single criminal case reveals further social inequalities. The 6-part series from Israel won the 2014 Documentary Filmmakers Forum Prize for Best Series.
